The book does not take a stance on whether the texts were truly written by the apostles, but rather focuses on offering readers the opportunity to explore these sacred writings within their original context. The work also includes the Gospel of Mary Magdalene, as well as a text found in the name of Jesus, which concludes the book.

This work provides readers with an objective overview of the lives of the apostles and Mary, and the writings attributed to them, while leaving the interpretation up to the reader.
